1st, 2007. Ms. Sun has newly joined Foley

and station in Shanghai
when Foley‘s request of a Shanghai branch
offi ce is approved by the Ministry of Justice of the
People’s Republic
of China. The Shanghai office

the Tokyo offi ce, which opened in 2003.
The
Shanghai offi ce will focus on assisting companies
with intellectual property (IP) counseling
and
dispute resolution.
“Doing Business in China” is no longer a
foreign term. For U.S. business,
the explosive
business opportunities in China are unprecedented
but challenges such as IP protection should
be carefully handled.
Catherine Sun’s presentation
included some real cases she handled
before
which helped the audiences further understand
the real situation the US businesses facing in
China right now.
The president of Asian American
Chamber of Commerce,
Becky Szymanski along
with some of her Board Directors
also attended
the conference.
