Asian Pacific Heritage Month Cultural Fair
at Universal Orlando Resort

On May 30, Universal Orlando Resort’s Diversity& Inclusion Team as well as
ASPIRE (Asian Pacific
American Team Members Standing together to
Promote, Inspire, Recruit, Retain, and Empower
Tomorrow’s UO Leaders)
and the Asian Pacific
Heritage Month Diversity Task Force held a cultural fair
for their team members. The event was the finale to a
month-long
celebration
of the Asian Pacific culture.
Participation came from local businesses, organizations,
and UCF student
associations all bringing
culturally relevant information, products & services.
Several ethnic performances highlighted the event
which was attended by
over 1,000 team members.
This year’s fair included activities ranging from
ashiatsu massage demonstrations to Chinese
Gu-zheng and Erhu performances.
The Diversity &
Inclusion Team and the affi nity task force groups are
proud to host several multicultural activities and events
throughout the year. Universal Orlando Resort encourages
team members to take part with various internal
affinity groups as part of their diversity initiatives
and
core mission values.
