Business After Hours at CityWalk’s Rising Star

Universal Orlando Resort’s Community & Diversity Relations’ team recently hosted
the Asian American Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours May event
at CityWalk’s new karaoke nightclub, Rising Star. Approximately 100 guests attended the event
to network and learn about Universal Orlando’s ASPIRE initiatives
(Asian Pacific American Team Members Standing together to Promote, Inspire, Recruit, Retain,
and Empower Tomorrow’s UO Leaders) as well as development plans in Singapore. Sandra Chen
and Supra Dey, Executive Champions of Universal Orlando’s ASPIRE, were guest speakers
at the popular event. Members were encouraged to try karaoke
and were inspired by a 9 year old “rising star”, Jan Gabriel de los Santos of Gainesville.
Rising Star is CityWalk’s newest nightclub where guests take center stage as the lead singer of a band. There are backup singers and a large selection of songs to choose from.
