Asian Art Exnibition

An Elegant Gathering of Art and Ideas, running from May 1 to June 30, 2007
at the Polasek Museum, features some of the unrivaled artistic traditions of nearly half of the world, including wooden Tang horses, a cocoon jar, a child’s Chinese
Imperial robe, a collection of jade pieces, and a blue and white porcelain sculpture
of Quan Yin, the goddess of compassionate loving kindness.
The exhibit is complemented by a series of weekly “yaji” roundtable discussions
of topics concerning Asian art, literature, music and popular culture.
