CELEBRATING ASIAN PACIFIC AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH at the Orlando City Hall

The month of May was an extremely busy month for the Asian American Chamber
of Commerce. As with most Asian organizations not only in the state of Florida
but around the nation, we commemorate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month
in May and had many activities lined up.

On May 9th, the Asian American Chamber hosted leaders of 20 Asian organizations at the Orlando City Hall during the city council meeting to accept the proclamation
of May as Asian Pacific American Heritage Month in the city of Orlando from Mayor Buddy Dyer. The AACC also presented Mayor Buddy Dyer with the Diversity Champion Award given at the Golden Dragon Awards to the City of Orlando for its outstanding contributions and positive impacts to the Central Florida community and
for encouraging diversity and inclusion...
