15th Annual Hispanic Business & Consumer Expo

What happens when you mix over 10,000 expo attendees with over 600 vendors? You get a wonderful business networking opportunity to showcase your product, service, and organization.

On April 18th through April 20th, the Asian American Chamber of Commerce
participated in the 15th Annual Hispanic Business and Consumer Expo at the Orange
County Convention Center. The offi cers and members of AACC found it important to
attend this Business Expo not only because of the wonderful opportunity to network with
other businesses and the general public, but also to support our fellow Chamber of
Commerce; the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Metro Orlando.

What was the Expo about? Like any Business and Consumer Expo it invites the
public to learn about community businesses and corporations that market to a
growing demographic to infl uence spending and opportunities. Large corporations such
as Universal Orlando, Disney World, Darden Restaurant, Chrysler, Blue Cross Blue Shield
and Federal, State, and County Government mixed with small businesses such as AffordableOne
Insurance Inc, Arepas, Glitzz and non for profi t organizations like the Hispanic
Chamber of Commerce, AACC, and Miss Mundo Latina are a few of
the 600 vendors that participated.

How was the experience? As a volunteer at the AACC booth, I was able to
meet with several businesses and individuals who stopped by to learn about the many
benefi ts of joining the AACC. The AACC volunteers handed out organization materials;
Brochures, Quarterly Newsletters, Upcoming Events fl yers, and the Asia Trend Magazine
to people that stopped by our booth. After my volunteer time at the booth, I was able
to walk around and visit with the 600 booths to sample delicious Latino food and beer,
yogurt smoothies, cheese, get a free health screening, and even watch a beauty pageant and show.
