The AACC Welcomes the Year of the Rabbit
with a Lunar New Year Business After-Hours

The Asian American Chamber of Commerce
(AACC) welcomed the Year of the
Rabbit with a Lunar New Year Business After-
Hours last Feb. 22 at Dragonfly Robata Grill
and Sushi Restaurant at the Dellagio Plaza on
Sand Lake Road.
Over 100 attendees enjoyed the wide array of sushi specialties prepared
by Dragonfly,
who sponsored the highly successful event.
Owner, Hiro Leung
greeted everyone and gave a brief talk about Dragonfly. He also drew
the winning card for the $100 dinner for two to
Dragonfly. Maria Diaz Urbino, of Visit Orlando
was the lucky winner.
Other attendees included special guests,
Carmenza Gonzalez of the Metro Orlando
Economic Development Commission and Brigitte
Dagot of the French American Chamber
and honorary French consul.
One of the most popular persons of the
evening was psychic, Ruby, who offered
tarot card readings and forecasted what is in store
for everyone during the
Year of the Rabbit.
The Asian American Chamber of Commerce
also announced the coming Business
After-Hours on March 22 to be held at the new
corporate headquarters of Darden Restaurants
at John Young Parkway and Taft-Vineland
Road.
The AACC is celebrating its 25th Anniversary
this year and has shared its 2011 plans
which include a Global Business Expo on July
16. Their sponsors include Orlando Magic,
Universal Orlando Resorts, Walt Disney Parks
and Resorts, Orlando Health, Visit Orlando,
Florida Hospital, Darden Restaurants and Asia
Trend Magazine.
