"Authetic Japanese <=> Americanized Japanese"

There are so many things from Japan modified for or seen falsely by people in this culture.
It will be interesting or even funny to see the differences, won't it?

Do you know what Geisha, Kimono, Samurai, or Bushi-Do really are?
Have you been to a Sushi bar in Japan? Can you distinguish Japanese Sushi from American Sushi?
Does "Tea Ceremony" adequately describe Chanoyu/Chakai??
Etc. etc.....

Please find any information on differences between authentic Japanese things and Americanized Japanese things to share at our next meeting.
